Dear forename surname

We hope that team name are ready for festival!
With the festival just weeks away now, we are just checking your update and ready for the biggest festival in the world!!

Entrance Fee

To secure entry to the festival, we must receive your entrance fee (£110 for three days or £95 for two days) by 31st March.  If there is a problem, contact us by email (applications@penguinfestival.co.uk) or on the Festival mobile (07939 522950).

Last Call for the Bus

The Festival Bus Service has proved to be a huge success since it was instigated three years ago.  The Bus Service is available to take festival goers from their accomodation to the grounds and return them back again at the completion of their days play.  Cost is £7 per person. Bus service needs to be ordered and paid for by 31st March as it affects the playing programme.

Friday's new 'Meet and Greet' Night

The Festival Committee have also organised an official Friday evening gathering. This will occur at the Beechwood Hall Hotel. All the penguins will be there some come and say hi!

Saturday Night News

Great news. Dave Shaw is returning to the Assembly Halls!!

Festival 'Celebrity' Game

Have you got anyone in your team you would consider a ‘Celebrity’? Do you know anyone who is known outside of hockey who would be prepared to have some fun in a good cause?

If so, Sunday at 12pm we are holding a Celebrity hockey game, the press and radio will be there.

So if you think you have a Celebrity hockey player, send us their information and why you think they are a Celebrity.

For example; Penguins HC’s celebrity is Chris Simmons – he’s a successful singer playing at Party in the Park.

Our friends at Cofrutos are donating £500 to Chestnut Tree House, a local childrens hospice that Penguin Hockey Club has supported in the past.

Change in Sunday Disco Venue

Lush was closed for refurbishment in January and we were assured that it would be open in time for the Festival.  However, we have been informed, this week, by the managent that the venue will not be ready in time for the booking that we have on Sunday 30th April.  Whilst we understand that this may be a huge disappointment for some visiting teams (and us), it is a situation that is totally out of our control.

Can we remind you all that tickets for both evening events are limited.  Book and pay now to avoid disappointment.

There will be an alternative event on Sunday evening and the Events team are currently in discussion with the Assembly Halls and 'East' regarding the possibility of using their venue on the 30th April.  We have yet to make a choice and will let you know of the finalised arrangements once these negotiations have been completed.

Now you can finally put a face to a name, I really couldn't find a picture with me in my penguins top like MST because I was either VERY 'socially relaxed' or it was covered in purple nasty!

But the real reason we are sending you our pictures is so if you have and questions/problems over festival weekend then please come and find us!
